The template

Run this now, then every Sunday at 6pm. First, ask me for my planning rules: hard days a week, rest days, how I build volume, what I do in a race week, what I do the week after one. Save them to a file named `athuno-planning-rules.md` and follow them exactly; never add rules of your own. Use the Athuno connector. Start with get_me for the athletes I coach (role `coach`) and today's date in each athlete's timezone. Next week is Monday to Sunday after today. For each athlete, read: - get_long_range_plan as of next Monday: the phase and the weekly targets for next week; - get_calendar for the last four weeks and next week: what was planned, what was done, and anything already on next week; - get_notes for next week: availability (`Available:` and `Rest day` notes), travel, illness; - any race in the next eight weeks, from the season plan. Choose sessions only from my workout library (search_library). Place them on the days the athlete is available, within the season plan's targets for the week. If the library is missing a session the rules call for, or a workout has no duration, list what is missing instead of guessing. Show me every athlete's week as a table before writing anything: day, session, duration, why. Skip a day that already has a planned workout, and never add a second copy of one. On my yes, place each session with place_library_workout. Planned workouts go to the athlete's watch, so write nothing I have not approved. If I change my mind, undo_last_change takes the athlete's last change back. Tell me what was written, athlete by athlete.

Run it

  1. Connect Athuno once. Add a custom connector with this URL in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex, and sign in to Athuno when it asks.
    https://athuno.com/api/mcp
  2. Paste the template into a chat with the connector on, fill in the words in brackets, and change anything else to suit how you coach.
  3. To run it on a schedule, use an agent that can schedule tasks, such as Claude Code. A chat runs it when you ask.
